What happens at a TEC weekend?

From the moment the weekenders arrive at the host facility on Friday morning, they are greeted by a combined team of peers and adults, including three ministers referred to as Spiritual Directors (SDs).Fun Stuff!
Music, games, lots of good food and laughter put everyone at ease before they go into the conference room for talk and study sessions.Inspiration
Over the course of three days, six of the young people on the team give talks on subjects such as "God Is Love" and "Need For Community". These talks are personal testimonies of the struggles these teenagers have faced and how God has worked in and through thier lives. The SD's give talks as well; all talks result in conversations around each table with posters or skits presented by the tables. Tears as well as laughter are shared in the conference room.The weekend is a progression of faith, going through the despair of Christ's crucifixion and ending with the triumph of the resurrection. By Sunday, everyone is celebrating in the new life that Christ brings!
